Murali Gopy ((マラヤーラム語:മുരളി ഗോപി‍)) is an Indian screenwriter, actor, author, singer and journalist. He wrote and acted in ''Ee Adutha Kaalathu'' and ''Left Right Left'', which are considered path breakers in their respective genres. He has won numerous awards including Filmfare Awards South and South Indian International Movie Awards for his work on screen and behind it.
==Career==
Murali Gopy made his debut as an actor and screen writer in the Lal Jose movie ''Rasikan'' (2004). He also sung the song ''Chaanju nikkana'' in this movie. His second movie was Blessy's ''Bhramaram'' in which he played the role of Alex Varghese, a self-centred doctor. Murali is also a short story writer. He published his first short story "Ayur Rekha" in ''Kalakaumudi'' in 1991 at the age of 19.
